The team
Twenty-one people in Columbus, Nebraska. Quoting, programming, machining, and quality all under one roof — so when you call, the person picking up actually knows your part.
Since 2000

This photo captures more than a team snapshot. Since 2000, Midwest Machine & Tool has been built by people showing up for each other, for our customers, and for every part that leaves the shop.
Two decades later, that same pride still drives the work we do every day.

How we work
Lowell — owner — still does floor walks. If a part's late or off, the buck stops with him, not a ticket queue.
Programming, setup, and inspection are not outsourced. The person who quoted your part can usually pull up the cycle time off the actual machine.
We'd rather earn a five-year program than chase a one-off lowball quote. Most of our work is repeat customers.
